Teens do not come with a manual, yet as parents you are being asked to guide "these beings" through the most tumultuous time of their lives. Everything is changing. Their hormones are everywhere. Friends are becoming more important and it would seem that the role of a parent is diminishing.
As a parent, what do you do? How do you help your teen during this time of their life when they need you the most?
As a youth worker/mentor or a company / organization that wants to help parents with this huge task, how do you assist them in this process?
In this workshop, you will learn ways of helping parents enhance their skills through the use of contracts, incentives, effective rules and consequences, nurturance, soft-side / hard-side of disciplining and a whole lot more.
Most studies have shown that parents still have the most influence upon your teenager. Teens say that parents are the person that matters the most when it comes to getting advice and help in other areas of their lives.
