So many teens today are having a difficult time managing their anger. There are countless amount of incidents that would support this theory. The question becomes "how do we help them?"
Is this something that they will outgrow?
Is there a way to "temper" your teen’s "tantrum"?
Is this a learned behavior?
Your average teenager expresses his or her anger in ways that range from withdrawal and shutting down to explosive physical and/or verbal outbursts.
How do you help them express their anger in a more positive, helpful, and less destructive way?
In this workshop we will outline steps to help them manage their anger. You will learn how to offer help, and when necessary, appropriate consequences. The premise is this: "He who angers you so that you respond negatively, conquers you!"
This workshop is designed for pre-teens and teens. It can be offered once a week for six weeks. If it is being offered within Dade and Broward Counties in Florida, then a representative from Helping Families Improve will conduct the class or offer training to someone who would then become a facilitator.
The Curriculum will be made available on line along with an accompanying video to be used for Facilitator’s training.
